3e. Money
“This is the greatest trap of all, enslaving nearly everyone on our planet. At the root of this deception is the general belief in money, that is, in the belief that money has more value than life itself and is therefore more precious than anything life has to offer. Because of this, countless schemes, scams, fiat systems, debt-enslavement programs, frauds, and thefts are able to syphon the energy and time of human beings, leading us nowhere but to our own ruin.
The monetary system we have today operates in this way, with a tiny ruling elite having devised and now controlling an international system of manipulation which gives unlimited power to those who create money without having to produce anything of actual value.”
Sigmund Fraud
Since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution consumer capitalism has journeyed on a path of stupidity and futility, based on the belief that we can forever use our capital assets, the earth itself, as a form of income.
We are presently using up the resources of this planet as if we had three planets to spend. It is clear too that government, utterly resistant to change, will be the last to admit to this, as their entire reason for existence is built around servicing ‘the economy’, the monstrous lie, the massive elephant in the room that we ignore at our peril.
So we have stories about money. The banks at the centre of this stupidity are slowly going bust due to such things as ‘Fractional Reserve Banking’ – a story they have for lending money that they don’t have. Added to this criminal scam is counterfeiting, the artificial printing of money which isn’t there because it has no associated value. This is supported, even encouraged by government and explained as ‘quantitative easing’. Just print some more…
“The modern banking system manufactures money out of nothing. The process is perhaps the most outstanding piece of sleight of hand that was ever invented.”
Former Bank of England Director
Central banks repress interest rates to hide the real cost of money and then blame the retail banks for ‘manipulating libor’. The ‘deposit guarantees’ supported by government legislation mean that when the banks do go bust through their own incompetence and chicanery, the taxpayer picks up the cost. This is direct theft.
As it stands, politicians have managed to protect the banks (apart from in Iceland) while everyone else takes the pain. As the cuts pinch the poor and the rich get no poorer, it will become clear whose interests are being served. As worker militancy grows and protests (when they are allowed) become more frequent, the demand for ever stronger, authoritative states will become louder, civil liberties will be curtailed (again), and those at the top of the tree will tell us that they have some special right.
“Banking was conceived in iniquity and born in sin. Bankers own the earth. Take it away from them but leave them the power to create money and control credit and with the flick of a pen, they will create enough money to buy it back again. But if you want to continue as the slaves of bankers and pay the cost of your own slavery, let them continue to create money and to control credit.”
Sir Joshua Stamp, Director of the Bank of England
